| TVR Protoypes - TVR Speed Eight |
The TVR Speed Eight was a
based on the TVR 420 Sports Saloon. It was basically a 2 + 2 convertable model
of the 420 Sports Saloon.The Speed Eight would of been available in a choice of
two engine sizes 3.9 and 4.3 litre . The interior would have been finished ,as
usual, to the customers own requirements with a choice of over ten thousand
different paintwork colours.One of the usual TVR design touches was the pop up
panel on the dash which when activated gave acces to the car's stereo system,
the panel can be seen on the car's interior picture below. Until recently the
prototype still existed at the TVR Factory but has now been disposed
off. |
