Lytham is a former fishing village, transformed recently into one of
the most attractive shopping towns on the Fylde coast. Its tree-lined streets
are filled with pavement cafes and a wealth of speciality shops, from
traditional cheese and fish dealers to modern clothing outlets.
St. Annes is a seaside holiday resort built alongside
Blackpool, but offering a different style of atmosphere and a much more relaxed
feel than its often brash neighbour. The offers a great deal of attractions for
both young and old, from its cinemas, pubs and clubs to the beautiful Ashton
Gardens and landscaped gardens along the promenade.
